February 2024 has been a slow month in terms of new luxury hotel openings after a few busy months. Regardless, here are two new boutique and luxury hotels that opened around the globe which we will be sharing with our readers.
The Lana – Dorchester Collection
Debuting on 1 February 2024, The Lana – Dorchester Collection is the first hotel from the brand to open in the UAE, as well as being the first in the Middle East.

The hotel features 225 rooms and suites as follows:
Restaurants and Facilities
The property has eight dining establishments. Riviera by Jean Imbert is the hotel’s main restaurant that servers French and Italian cuisines. Jara by Martin Berasategui opens for dinner only and showcases Basque country cuisine. High Society is a poolside restaurant while Bonbon Café Angelo Musa offers French patisserie. The Gallery is located at the lobby and is the hotel’s afternoon tea venue. Veranda, Bitter Honey, and Txakolina are the hotel’s bars.
Facilities at the hotel include a gym and a Dior spa that has yet to open.

Prices start from USD 706 per night (taxes inclusive).
Anantara Santorini Abu Dhabi Retreat
Anantara Santorini Abu Dhabi Retreat opened its doors on 23 February 2024, and is the sixth Anantara branded hotel in the city.

Restaurants and Facilities
Anantara Santorini Abu Dhabi Retreat has two dining venues. Oia Oasis is the resort’s all day dining restaurant. Thalassa is a Greek restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine.
There is a fitness centre, infinity-edge outdoor pool, and a spa within the resort’s premises.
Prices
Prices start from USD 515 per night (taxes inclusive).
