Aman New York
One of the most anticipated hotel openings in 2022, Aman New York made its debut in New York City on 2 August 2022. This is the second urban property in Aman’s portfolio (after Aman Tokyo) and the third Aman property in the United States (after Amangani and Amangiri).
Location
Housed in the over 100-year-old Crown Building on the corner of Fifth Avenue and 57th Street, Aman New York is within walking distance to many of the city’s attractions, such as Central Park, The Museum of Modern Art, Rockefeller Center, and, Central Park Zoo.
The closest metro station to the hotel is 5th Avenue 53rd Street Station and 5th Avenue 59th Street Station.

Aman New York has five dining venues; Arva, which is the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant with Alfresco dining, features classic Italian cuisine outside breakfast hours; Nama is a Japanese restaurant that is open for dinner only while The Garden Terrace offers year-round open-air dining with a roof garden. The Lounge Bar has an extensive menu of cocktails, spirits, fine wines, and craft beers while The Jazz Club is the hotel’s speakeasy bar.
Facilities wise, Aman New York has a heated outdoor rooftop pool, a fitness center, Yoga and Pilates studios, and a 2,300 sqm (24,757 sqft) flagship spa with seven treatment rooms, three integrative wellness treatment rooms, and spa houses offering a private spa experience.

Rosewood Vienna
Rosewood Vienna opened in the former headquarters of Erste Group Bank AG on 1 August 2022. The opening marks the debut of the Rosewood brand in Austria and is the fifth Rosewood property in Europe after Rosewood Villa Magna (Spain), Hôtel de Crillon (France), Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco (Italy), and Rosewood London (United Kingdom).
Location
Located in the heart of the central old town, the hotel is surrounded by lots of restaurants and retail outlets. Many of the city’s attractions are also within the hotel’s vicinity, and they include The Hofburg, Wiener Staatsoper, and Wien Museum Mozart apartment.
The closest metro station from the hotel is Stephansplatz Station on both the red and orange lines.

Rosewood Vienna has a restaurant, a bar, and a lobby lounge. Neue Hoheit Brasserie is the hotel’s all-day dining venue that serves authentic Austrian cuisine. Neue Hoheit Bar is a rooftop bar with great city views. Salon Aurelie is a lobby lounge that offers drinks as well as Viennese pastries and chocolates.
The hotel does not have a pool but does have a fitness centre and a spa.

W Costa Navarino
The first W hotel in Greece, W Costa Navarino opened on 9 August 2022 on the Navarino Waterfront.
Location
As its name suggests, the resort is situated in the newest integrated resort area of Costa Navarino, on a beachfront location overlooking the historic Bay of Navarino. In addition to its easy reach to a few beaches, the resort is also within close proximity to a couple of golf courses, offering a variety of activities to its guests. Attractions near the resort include the Methoni Castle and the Old Navarino Fortress.
Kalamata International Airport (KLX) is the nearest airport to the resort and is a fifty-minute drive away.

W Costa Navarino has four dining options. Parelia, the hotel’s all-day dining venue, is a beach club restaurant that serves an international menu. There is a 24-hour fitness centre named FIT, a heated outdoor pool, and a spa.

Magma Resort Santorini – In the Unbound Collection by Hyatt
Debuting in Santorini, Magma Resort Santorini – In the Unbound Collection by Hyatt opened on 10 August 2022 and is the first hotel under the Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand in Greece.
Location
Nestled on the hilltops of Vourvoulos, the resort is in the inland of Santorini, in an area known for its vineyards. Other than visiting vineyards in the vicinity, the small size of Santorini means that many of the island sights such as Oia and Lighthouse Akrotiri are just a short drive away.
Santorini (Thira) International Airport (JTR) is the nearest airport to the resort and is an eight-minute drive away.

There is just one restaurant on the resort’s premises. Magma By Spondi is the resort’s exclusive dining concept serving Greek cuisine curated by the two-Michelin-starred chef, Arnaud Bignon.

Waldorf Astoria Kuwait
Opened on 25 August 2022, Waldorf Astoria Kuwait is part of The Avenues Mall development, the largest shopping mall in Kuwait.
Location
Being connected to The Avenues Mall means that there are no shortage of retail, dining, and entertainment options near the hotel. Attractions such as Kuwait Towers, Kuwait National Museum, and Al Shaheed Park are an easy drive away.

There are three restaurants, a café, and a lounge in Waldorf Astoria Kuwait. Ava, the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant showcases Mediterranean cuisine. Kubbar Poolside Restaurant offers Middle Eastern cuisine while Roka is a Japanese restaurant. Oxio Pool and Lounge is a poolside bar and Peacock Alley is an NYC café with Parisian influences.

The debut of the Grand Hyatt brand in Gurgaon, Grand Hyatt Gurgaon opened on 25 August 2022.
Location
Situated in the suburban city of Delhi, the capital of India, the hotel is about a 45-minute drive from Delhi, where some of the famous attractions, such as the Red Fort, Qutub Minar, and Purana Qila can be found. Local attractions are mainly markets and malls and include the Galleria Market and Worldmark Gurgaon.
Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) is the nearest airport to the hotel and is a thirty-minute drive away.

There is currently one restaurant, a lobby lounge, and two bars open in the hotel, with more restaurants to open in the future. Bar Musui and Plateau are the hotel’s bars.

InterContinental Sorrento Mornington Peninsula
InterContinental Sorrento Mornington Peninsula opened on 1 August 2022 on an 1875 landmark site.
Location
The hotel is located in the coastal town of Sorrento, an hour and a half’s drive from Melbourne. There are many beaches near the property as well as numerous vineyards where guests can either relax and enjoy the beach or go for wine tastings.
Melbourne Airport (MEL) is the nearest airport to the hotel and is an hour and forty-five-minute drive away.

InterContinental Sorrento Mornington Peninsula has four dining options. Audrey’s by Scoot Pickett features seafood with sweeping views of Sorrento village while Barlow is the hotel’s other restaurant. The Atrium is a European-style café and The Continental Public Bar & Beer Garden serves drinks and Italian gastro-pub style food.
InterContinental Sorrento Mornington Peninsula has a pool and a fitness centre. There will be an upcoming spa scheduled to open in the later part of the year.
